How long do we keep your personal data?

The duration of kepping personal data depends on the purpose for which they were collected. Generally, personal data (eg payment receipts containing name, address, telephone number, donation amount, VAT number, Tax Office) are kept for 10 years after the end of the sponsors contribution or the contract for employees, providers and associates, for tax and other purposes.

Payment method details (bank accounts), which are not used for the above reasons, are deleted 2 years after the expiration of the support or employment / service contract. The data of our beneficiaries in Greece are maintained for 3 years. Any deviation from the aforementioned data retention periods should be adequately justified. The contact details of the supporters are kept until they themselves announce that they do not wish to be informed about the work and actions of Vision on a mission. At the end of the retention period, personal data is deleted or destroyed.
